First sentence invalid. If you build momentum forward towards the gap, you are naturally going to throw at that direction, aka more accuracy. That's how I hit my gaps easier...

One difference I notice is how Johannennes pre-loads his wrist on the reach back. I don't see how loading out with wrist and then drawing it in helps. Only thing I can think of is that it is causing the arm to whip better.
